Dear K-12 Presidents Council,
The K-12 Presidents Council and BCPSEA Provincial Health and Safety Taskforce
is distributing links to a survey for all Joint Health and Safety Committees.
The survey will be open from March 3 to April 11. We are asking that a worker and
employer representative on each site JOHSC fill out the survey.
The attached bulletin includes an email template you can use to send to your JHSC reps
(see page 2 of the bulletin). The email template includes links to the survey (which will go
live March 3). As the bulletin states, this survey can be filled out during a regular monthly
or special JHSC meeting, or under normal processes for scheduling other health and
safety activities.
If you as president require book off time to support ensuring a worker representative on
each JHSC fills out the survey, or if you need to book off a worker rep if they are unable
to complete the survey at a JHSC meeting, you can bill up to 3.5 hours to the K-12
Presidents Council per site – please note in your expense claim that the expense is
for the Provincial Safety Taskforce JHSC survey.
