To All Vancouver Art Gallery Members:
Since the last update on March 10th, your Bargaining Committee has met with management on April 5th, 6th, 12th and 13th, and both sides have confirmed to meet again on April 26th, 27th and 28th.
More progress has been made and we have been able to sign off on almost three dozen agreed items.
Some of the agreed items will have an impact on various issues such as remote work, compliance with the Employment Standards Act around certain leaves, and the addition of a public holiday, among other things.
Currently the outstanding items we have are three non-monetary issues from the employer, and monetary proposals from the union.
We have had extensive and determined discussions with the employer, and we will continue to work diligently on your behalf.
