Free parking is available behind the building, off Pandora Street.

By-Elections for Trustee and Parks Sector Representative

The results of the 2025 Executive Board Election leave one vacant Trustee position and one vacant Parks Sector Representative position, as the previous incumbents were successful in their candidacy for other positions on the Executive Board. Elections will take place at the June 25, 2025 General Membership meeting. Please see Local 15 Bylaws 12.8 and 15.8 (below).

  1. Trustee

This is for the remainder of a three-year term ending May 27, 2026. In order to be eligible to accept nomination, a member must have attended at least 50% of the General Membership meetings in the last 12 months. All members are eligible to vote.

  1. Parks Sector Representative

This is for the remainder of a three-year term ending May 27, 2026. Only members from the Parks Sector are eligible to accept nomination or vote.

Election of Delegates to the 2025 CUPE National Convention in Toronto

Elections will take place at the June 25, 2025 General Membership meeting for delegates to the CUPE National Convention. The convention is scheduled from October 6-10, 2025 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. In order to be eligible to stand as a CUPE Local 15 delegate, a member must have attended a minimum of 50% of the General Membership meetings in the last 12 months.

The agenda, minutes from the previous meeting (May 28, 2025), and correspondence list will be posted on the home page of the CUPE Local 15 website (www.cupe15.org) at or before 12:00 noon on the date of the meeting. Please read the documents in advance, if possible, to prepare for the meeting. In addition, the June 2025 issue of the Members’ Voice has already been posted.

General Meetings provide all members with an opportunity to participate in decisions that affect the union.
