The passing of Queen Elizabeth II, Canada’s longest reigning monarch, will have a different meaning and effect on all of us. As President of the Canadian Union of Public Employees Local 15, it is my duty to give my condolences and prayers for the Royal Family, the people of the United Kingdom, and the Commonwealth of Canada, on behalf of our members who are mourning the Queen’s passing today.
