Dear Registered Massage Therapy Instructors (RMTs) at Langara College:
As you have probably heard, on August 31, 2026, the Bargaining Committee reached a tentative agreement in principle with the employer, including bringing the RMTs into the collective agreement. In addition to the in-person information and voting meeting on Thursday, the Bargaining Committee wants to provide a meeting specifically for the RMTs, so they can learn about what has been negotiated for them. We will have three RMT contract presentation meetings:
- Thursday, September 10, 2026 from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. – In-Person (Room C408)
- Monday, September 14, 2026 – 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. – Online via Teams
- Monday, September 14, 2026 – 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. – Online via Teams

After each presentation, we will answer any questions you may have.

- Thursday, September 10, 2026 – Ratification meeting from 12:00 p.m. – 12:30 p.m. for all CUPE members and voting from 12:30pm to 1:00pm – T-Gallery
- Monday, September 14, 2026 – Voting only – 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. – Room C408
- Tuesday, September 15, 2026 – Voting only – 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. – Room C408
