WHY:               18th Annual Community Celebration with Indigenous Veteran
Tributes, Ceremonies, Community Honour March Open to Public

WHO:              Attending Veterans Robert Nahanee, Allen Deruoin, Carolyn Orazietti

This Indigenous Veterans gathering, with supporting  officials, unions, schools, community groups, is open to public participation on Tuesday, November 8th from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Open Ceremonies with Traditional Dress: 9:00 a.m. at 312 Main Street.

Community Honour March: 10:00 a.m. Main and Hastings to Victory Square Park Cenotaph via Pender Street.

Welcome, Drums, First Nations Flags, Community Banners, Pictures of Past Veteran Family Members.

Wreath Lay Ceremony: 10:45 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

Local Veterans tributes will be live streamed on the National Aboriginal Veterans’ Day Facebook page on November 8th and a camera recording of the service will air for Veterans’ Week.
