Greetings Emily Carr University of Art and Design (ECUAD) Members:
We are organizing a CUPE Local 15 AGM for members at Emily Carr University of Art and Design and the meeting details are as follows:
Date: Wednesday, December 11, 2024
Time: 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Location: ECUAD Rennie Hall (B2160)
A large part of the meeting will be used to hold elections for stewards and the following committees:
– Bargaining – 4 members + 1 alternate
– Benefits – 3 members + 1 alternate
– Joint Occupational Health + Safety (JOHS)
– Education + Professional Development – 3 members
– Wellness Health Initiative Program (WHIP) – 2 members
– Job Evaluation
– Special Events
– Wellness
We will give a brief overview of the committees at the meeting and take nominations on the floor. If you are currently on a committee and would like to be considered for re-election, please send your expression of interest to Lead Shop Steward, Gaye Fowler in advance and we will include you in the list of nominees.
The union will provide a banh mi sandwich or salad roll for those who get their order to Gaye Fowler in by Wednesday, December 4, 2024. This is a hard deadline as we must order in advance to arrange payment.
