Dear City et al (City of Vancouver, Park Board, Ray-Cam, and Britannia) Members:
It is with great sadness that we inform you of the sudden passing of a member of our Committee. Ava Choy, City Representative and Vice-Chair left us suddenly on July 13, 2025 during an event in Penticton, BC.
Ava was a formidable teammate, a fierce ally, and a loyal friend to many. Ava advocated with great passion on behalf of our members during the last two rounds of bargaining and never wavered in her mission to improve working conditions for her fellow members. She will be dearly missed by all.
