Dear Vancouver School Board Members:
We are pleased to report that you have voted in favour of ratifying our new collective agreement with the employer.
The continued engagement, support and solidarity of CUPE Local 15 VSB members helped make this agreement possible.
We want to thank the Bargaining Committee for their hard work and dedication during this challenging round of bargaining. By working together and supporting one another, we achieved concrete improvements and a fair deal we can all be proud of. The employer has also ratified the agreement. Once BCPSEA ratifies it—which we expect by Friday—we will begin working with the employer to implement the new provisions and issuing back pay. We will be in touch once the details are finalized.
