Dear Vancouver Coastal Health HSPBA and HSSCBA Members:
Since the overtime ban and refusal of all non-nursing duties for all other NBA members remain in effect, if you continue to be directed to perform work that is normally performed by striking nurses, please continue to advise management that the work is typically performed by employees participating in the job action.
If management maintains the direction, follow the instruction and report the matter to Local 15 by email at email@cupe15.org. Please include the information outlined in our previous bulletin, including details about the work you were asked to perform, who directed you to perform it, and any other relevant information.
The information you provide will help us better understand the situation and determine the appropriate next steps.
