Kindly find some information below from MLA, Sunita Dhir, Vancouver-Langara Riding regarding support that is available if you have been impacted by the tragic events at Vancouver’s Lapu Lapu Day Festival.

People in British Columbia, Canada, and around the world are in mourning after the horrific attack at the Lapu Lapu Day Festival in Vancouver this weekend. Eleven people were murdered and dozens were injured during what was a celebration of Filipino strength and culture. Our thoughts are with those who are grieving the loss of loved ones and those recovering from this senseless tragedy. I want to thank the police and first responders, healthcare workers, and everyone who jumped into action quickly and are still helping people today. Right now, our focus is on supporting people and ensuring people feel safe attending community events at a time when we need to come together.
